According to the source, Newcastle have reached an agreement with the player on personal terms, and he will sign a four-year contract with the English club if the deal goes through.

Despite this progress, negotiations between Newcastle and AC Milan are still ongoing, with coach Massimiliano Allegri expressing his commitment to the player remaining with the Rossoneri.

The source added that Newcastle have submitted an offer of €30 million for the player, while Bayer Leverkusen have also expressed interest.
