Luis Diaz on the verge of Bayern Munich

Colombian Liverpool star Luis Diaz is close to joining Bayern Munich during the current summer transfer window.

In this regard, British journalist Ben Jacobs wrote on his X account on Sunday: “Luis Diaz is close to a move to Bayern Munich, and the deal is likely to be less than €80 million.”

He added: “There is still some work to be done, but Diaz will head to Tokyo with the rest of the Liverpool squad, while an agreement with Bayern Munich is not far off.”

Diaz joined Liverpool from Porto in 2022 for €54 million, scoring 41 goals and providing 23 assists in 148 appearances, winning the Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup (twice), and Super Cup titles.

It is worth noting that Diaz was a major target for Barcelona this summer, but the latter were unable to meet Liverpool’s financial demands.
